''Conversations with Eamon Dunphy'' was an Irish radio programme, on which Eamon Dunphy interviewed various celebrities. It aired on Saturdays on RTÉ Radio 1. On 7 July 2009, Dunphy announced he would cease presenting his programme, to concentrate on sport. Format After news and paper reviews, Eamon Dunphy presented ''Conversations with Eamon Dunphy'' on RTÉ Radio 1 from 09:10. The programme was divided into three parts, each separated by a commercial break. Many high-profile guests have appeared on the programme. There is one guest every week. Typically the guest discussed their life and career. They were asked to request three pieces of music during the programme. The programme is pre-recorded. Richard Corrigan
Richard Corrigan (born 10 February 1964) is an Irish chef. He is chef/patron of Corrigan's Bar & Restaurant Mayfair, Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill, Daffodil Mulligan Restaurant & Gibney's Bar London and Virginia Park Lodge in Virginia, County Cavan. Early life Richard Corrigan was born and raised in Ballivor, County Meath. He studied at Dublin Institute of Technology. Career Having spent several years in the Netherlands, he was then head chef of Mulligan's in Mayfair in London. Niamh Máire Brennan (born 1954) is the Michael MacCormac Professor of Management at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. Background Brennan was born in December 1954. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and biochemistry from UCD in 1976, graduating first in her class. John Ryan is an Irish journalist and publisher. He is a former editor of Magill and In Dublin. His publications include the magazines VIP and New York Dog (both with former business partner, Michael O'Doherty) and the websites blogorrah.com, and Broadsheet.ie. Robert Ballagh (born 22 September 1943) is an Irish artist, painter and designer. He was born in Dublin and studied architecture at the Bolton Street College of Technology. His painting style was strongly influenced by pop art. He is particularly well known for his hyperrealistic renderings of well known Irish literary, historical or establishment figures. Ballagh grew up in a ground-floor flat on Elgin Road in Ballsbridge, the only child of a Catholic mother and a Presbyterian father who converted to Catholicism, both of whom had played sport for Ireland. He became an atheist while being educated at St Michael's College and Blackrock College. Before turning to art as a profession, he was a professional musician with the showband Chessmen. Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh (; born 20 August 1930) is an Irish Gaelic games commentator for the Irish national radio and television, RTÉ. In a career that has spanned six decades he has come to be regarded as the "voice of Gaelic games." He has been described as a national treasure.
