Consumer Council
The Consumer Council is an independent statutory authority in Hong Kong, established in 1974 and formalised in April 1977 under the Consumer Council Ordinance (Cap. 216). North Point
North Point is a mixed-use urban area in the Eastern District, Hong Kong, Eastern District of Hong Kong. Located in the northeastern part of Hong Kong Island, the area is named after a cape between Causeway Bay and Tsat Tsz Mui that projects towards Kowloon Bay (body of water), Kowloon Bay. Location North Point is bounded by Oil Street () to the west and by Tin Chiu Street () to the east, by Victoria Harbour to the north and Braemar Hill to the southeast. Kan Yuet-keung
Sir Yuet-keung Kan (, 26 July 1913 – 14 September 2012) was a Hong Kong banker, politician and lawyer who was successively appointed Senior Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, Legislative Council and Executive Council of Hong Kong, Executive Council in the 1960s in Hong Kong, 1960s and 1970s in Hong Kong, 1970s. He also served as chairman of the Bank of East Asia for 20 years. Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, Gold Bauhinia Star, GBS, Justice of the Peace, JP (; born 17 November 1952) is a Hong Kong politician and academic. He was the Secretary for Transport and Housing from 2012 to 2017 and 5th President of the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd). He was one of the few government officials coming from a pro-democracy camp, pro-democracy background. KC Chan
Chan Ka Keung Ceajer (, born 10 February 1957), also referred to as KC Chan, is a Hong Kong politician and economist who previously served as the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury. He is also the ''ex officio'' chairman of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, and an ''ex officio'' member of the Hong Kong International Theme Parks board of directors. The Competition Commission is the independent statutory body charged with regulating competition in Hong Kong. It was established under the Competition Ordinance (Cap. 619), enacted in June 2012, which aims to prohibit conduct that prevents, restricts or distorts competition, and to prohibit mergers that substantially lessen competition in Hong Kong. Edward Chen (politician)
Edward Chen Kwan-yiu (), CBE, GBS, JP (born 14 January 1945, Hong Kong) was the President of Lingnan University of Hong Kong. He is now an Honorary Professor and Distinguished Fellow of the Centre of Asian Studies at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He is a non-executive director of Wharf Holdings. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree from HKU in 1967. He then pursued further studies at Linacre College, Oxford, where he earned his M.Phil and D.Phil degrees in economics. He returned to HKU to be an Assistant Lecturer and then Chair Professor from 1970 to 1995. He left HKU to take on the role of President of Lingnan University in 1995 until he retired in 2007. Martin Lee Chu-ming (; born 8 June 1938) is a Hong Kong politician and barrister. Selina Chow Liang Shuk-yee (; born 25 January 1945) is a former Hong Kong television executive and politician. She was a member of the Legislative Council for nearly three decades, and was also a member of the Executive Council. She is honorary chairwoman of the Liberal Party, having formerly been its chairwoman. Joining Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) after graduating from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), she was Hong Kong's first weather girl.
