The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is a political party in Pakistan established in 1996 by cricketer and politician Imran Khan, who served as the country's prime minister from 2018 to 2022. The party is led by Gohar Ali Khan since late 2023. Akbar Ayub Khan (born 17 July 1971) is a Politics of Pakistan, Pakistani politician who is currently serving as a member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Haripur Tehsil is a tehsil located in Haripur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The tehsil is administratively subdivided into 37 Union Councils. History The tehsil was described by the Imperial Gazetteer of India, compiled over a century ago during British rule as follows: Haripur Tehsil of Hazāra District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, lying between 33° 44′ and 34° 18′ N. and 72° 33′ and 73° 14′ E., with an area of 657 square miles. It is bounded on the north-west by the Indus. The tahsil consists of a sloping plain, from 1,500 to 3,000 feet high, through which the Siran and Harroh flow. Haripur District (Hindko, ) is a district in the Hazara Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Before obtaining the status of a district in 1991, Haripur was a tehsil of Abbottabad District Its headquarters are the city of Haripur.
