Constantin Grameni
Constantin "Dina" Grameni (; born 23 October 2002) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga I club Rapid București. Club career Viitorul Constanța / Farul Constanța Grameni made his professional debut for Viitorul Constanța on 4 April 2021, in a 0–1 Liga I away loss to Botoșani. He became a first-team regular after the club merged with Farul Constanța in the summer of 2021, amassing 30 league games in the 2021–22 season. On 17 February 2022, Grameni scored his first and only goal of the campaign in a 8–2 Liga I thrashing of Academica Clinceni. On 31 August 2022, Grameni netted a goal in a 3–1 Liga I home defeat of FCSB. In the 2022–23 season, he collected six goals from 39 appearances to aid his side in winning the national title. Romania National Under-21 Football Team
The Romania national under-21 football team, also known as Romania under-21s or Romania U21(s), is considered to be the feeder team for the Romania national football team. This team is for Romanian players aged under 21 at the start of the calendar year in which a two-year European Under-21 Championship campaign begins, so some players can remain with the squad until the age of 23. As long as they are eligible, players can play for Romania at any level, making it possible to play for the U21s, senior side, and again for the U21s. Club Sportiv LPS HD Clinceni, commonly known as Clinceni and formerly as ''Academica Clinceni'', is a Romanian football club based in Clinceni, Ilfov County, currently playing in the Liga IV - Ilfov County. 2020–21 Liga I
The 2020–21 Liga I (also known as Casa Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons) was the 103rd season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season started on 21 August 2020 and ended on 19 May 2021. CFR Cluj were winners and three-time defending champions. It was the sixth season to take place in the play-off/play-out format, and the first since the 2005–06 season to feature 16 teams. The play-off/play-out rule was also altered, with the first six teams at the regular season qualified for the play-off tournament and the last ten for the play-out. The first six teams played two matches against each other as before, but in the play-out the teams only played once against each other. 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship
The 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-21 Euro 2023) was the 24th edition of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship (27th edition if the Under-23 era is also included), the biennial international youth Association football, football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-21 national teams of Europe. A total of 16 teams played in the final tournament, and only players born on or after 1 January 2000 were eligible to participate. Emil Săndoi (born 1 March 1965) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player. Career A centre-back, who was born in Craiova and debuted in Divizia A with hometown side Universitatea Craiova in 1983. Gheorghe Popescu (footballer, Born 1967)
Gheorghe "Gică" Popescu (; born 9 October 1967) is a Romanian former professional football player who played as a defender. He notably played in La Liga, where he was a former captain of FC Barcelona. He played for a string of European clubs in that period, including a four-year stint at PSV Eindhoven and winning the UEFA Cup with Galatasaray. He also played in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur, in Serie A with Lecce and in the Bundesliga with Hannover 96. In his native country he played for Universitatea Craiova, Steaua București and Dinamo București. In addition to his defensive skills, he was also capable of starting attacks deep from his own half.
