Aaron Pritchett
Aaron Pritchett (born August 2, 1970) is a Canadian country music singer. He has one #1 hit on the ''Billboard'' Canada Country chart with "Better When I Do". Biography Pritchett got his start as a DJ at Rooster's Country Cabaret bar in Pitt Meadows, BC, and played in a house band performing cover tunes. He recorded his first album in 1996 titled ''Young in Love''. In 2001, after years of playing clubs in BC and Alberta, Pritchett entered a singing contest called "Project Discovery" sponsored by CMT and won a professional music video directed by internationally acclaimed director, Steven Goldmann as well as $10,000 cash. He put the money towards recording his first album to see any radio success, titled "Consider This". The title track was co-written by Pritchett and BC Country legend Rick Tippe. Mitch Merrett is a record producer, music manager, and country musician from Langley, British Columbia, Canada. He plays a Gibson Robot Guitar. He studied music at Selkirk College in Nelson, graduating from the Contemporary Music and Technology program with a major in performance. Thrasher Shiver was an American country music duo composed of Neil Thrasher and Kelly Shiver, both of whom sang lead vocals and played acoustic guitar. In late 1996, the duo released a self-titled album for Asylum Records, and charted two singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. Brett Beavers (born in Waco, Texas), is an American country music songwriter and producer and the co-author of the book ''Something Worth Leaving Behind''. Education and early career Beavers attended Baylor University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary education in 1985. He spent the next four years playing bass guitar with a small country band throughout Central Texas, honing his skill as a songwriter. After a year away from the music business, when he married and taught high school science in Tyler, Texas, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to join a band with Deryl Dodd. Shortly after arriving in Nashville, Beavers began touring with Martina McBride as bass player and bandleader, from 1992–1996, and then with Lee Ann Womack from 1997–2005 in the same capacity.
