Conor McGlynn
Conor McGlynn (born November 20, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for USL Championship club Hartford Athletic. Career Youth, college and amateur McGlynn played one season with the New York-based BW Gottschee Academy in 2015–16. McGlynn spent all four years of his college soccer career at Siena College between 2016 and 2019, where he made 75 appearances, scored 7 goals and tallied 16 assists. While at college, McGlynn also played soccer with USL League Two side FA Euro New York for three seasons over 2017, 2018 and 2019. Professional On March 12, 2020, McGlynn joined USL Championship side Hartford Athletic ahead of their 2020 season. Jack Ryan McGlynn (born July 7, 2003) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. Club career Born in Middle Village, New York, McGlynn started his career with BW Gottschee Academy, a prominent soccer academy in New York City. In 2019, McGlynn moved to Philadelphia and joined the youth academy at the Philadelphia Union. During the 2019–20 academy season, McGlynn scored seven goals and on March 6, 2020, he signed a professional contract with the Union's reserve affiliate, Philadelphia Union II for the 2020 season. On March 7, 2020, a day after signing with Union II, McGlynn made his competitive debut for the side in the USL Championship against Loudoun United. Samuel Strong (born August 23, 1996) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Rajpracha FC in the Thai League 2. Career College & Amateur Born in Santa Barbara, Strong played youth soccer with Santa Barbara Soccer Club and Real So Cal. He also played one season of high school soccer with San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara where he graduated in 2014. Strong received a scholarship to play college soccer at UC Santa Barbara between 2015 and 2016, where he scored 2 goals in 30 appearances for the Gauchos. In November 2016, Strong was charged with felony count of assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor count of reckless driving. Strong had seen a UCSB parking official placing a clamp on one of his tires in a campus parking lot and responded by getting into his car and driving away, nearly hitting the officer. Philadelphia Union II is an American professional soccer team based in Chester, Pennsylvania competing in MLS Next Pro. Founded in 2015 as Bethlehem Steel FC, the team is the official affiliate of the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. The team competed for five seasons in the USL Championship (the first three as Bethlehem Steel FC) before going on hiatus from competition during the 2021 season.
