Connor Thomas
Sidney Connor Thomas (born May 29, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2025. Amateur career Thomas attended Tift County High School in Tifton, Georgia. As a junior in 2015, he went 8–1 with a 0.67 ERA. Unselected in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft, he enrolled at Georgia Tech where he played college baseball. In 2017, as a freshman at Georgia Tech, Thomas pitched innings in which he gave up 13 earned runs. As a sophomore, he moved into the starting rotation, going 7–4 with a 3.34 ERA and 106 strikeouts over 97 innings and fifteen games. In 2019, his junior year, Thomas made 16 starts in which he compiled a 9–2 record and 3.11 ERA over 113 innings. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets baseball team represents the Georgia Institute of Technology in NCAA Division I (NCAA), Division I college baseball. Class A Short Season
Class A Short Season (officially Short-Season A) was a level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States from 1965 through 2020. In the hierarchy of minor league classifications, it was below Triple-A, Double-A, Class A-Advanced (created in 1990), and Class A. Teams in Class A Short Season played about 75 to 80 games per season, compared to the 130- to 140-game seasons of most professional baseball minor leagues. The Salt River Rafters are a baseball team that plays in the East Division of the Arizona Fall League. They play their home games at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community near Scottsdale, Arizona. Arizona Fall League
The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season baseball league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Structure The six teams of the AFL are organized in two three-team divisions. The International League (IL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the United States. Along with the Pacific Coast League, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). The league traces its roots to 1884, while the modern IL began in 1912. Following MLB's reorganization of the minor leagues in 2021, it operated as the Triple-A East for one season before switching back to its previous moniker in 2022. Memphis Redbirds
The Memphis Redbirds are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. They are located in Memphis, Tennessee, and are named for their Major League Baseball affiliate. The Springfield Cardinals are a Minor League Baseball team based in Springfield, Missouri. The Midwest League is a Minor League Baseball league established in 1947 and based in the Midwestern United States.
