Connor Kirby
Connor Alexander Kirby (born 10 September 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Buxton. He has previously had spells at Macclesfield Town, Altrincham and started his career at Sheffield Wednesday. Career Sheffield Wednesday Kirby signed his first professional contract for Sheffield Wednesday in October 2015. In April 2018 he made his first team debut for the club, playing as a substitute as Wednesday beat Reading in the Football League Championship. Macclesfield Town (loan) Kirby signed on a season-long loan at Macclesfield Town on 9 August 2019. Barnsley () is a market town in South Yorkshire, England. As the main settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley and the fourth largest settlement in South Yorkshire. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. 2019–20 FA Trophy
The 2019–20 FA Trophy (known for sponsorship reasons as the Buildbase FA Trophy) was the 51st season of the FA Trophy, an annual football competition for teams at levels 5-8 of the English National League System. The competition consisted of two preliminary rounds, three qualifying rounds, and six proper rounds. All matches until the semi-finals were held as a single-match knockout format with reversed replays after first-leg matches drawn in regulation time. The semi-finals were scheduled to be two-legged, but due to their delay by the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom they were shifted to single matches, with no replays.
