Connor Brown (footballer)
Connor Anton Brown (born 2 October 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right back for National League North club Buxton. He has played in the Football League for Oldham Athletic and Carlisle United. Career Sheffield United Brown was born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. He started his career with Sheffield United as a junior in their Academy before signing a professional contract in the summer of 2011. After failing to make the breakthrough into the first team, he was released in the summer of 2012. Oldham Athletic Brown signed a one-year contract with Sheffield United's League One rivals Oldham Athletic on 8 June 2012, with the option of a further year. In his first season with the club, Brown made 29 appearances in all competitions. In May 2013, he was rewarded with the one-year option on his contract being exercised. The National League North, formerly Conference North, is a division of the National League in England, immediately below the National League division. Along with the National League South, it is at the second level of the National League System, and at the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. The 2011–12 Football Conference season was the eighth season in which the Football Conference consisted of three divisions and the thirty-third season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The Conference Premier is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, whilst the Conference North and Conference South exist at the sixth level. Chedwyn Michael Evans (born 28 December 1988) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a striker for Championship club Preston North End. Born in Rhyl, Evans was signed by Manchester City from Chester City's youth set up in 2002 and he subsequently progressed through the ranks.
