Connie Ladenburg
Connie J. Ladenburg is an American politician of the Democratic Party. She served as a member of the Tacoma City Council, the Washington State House of Representatives and is now a member of the Pierce County Council. Pierce County Council
The Pierce County Council is a county legislative council with jurisdiction over Pierce County, Washington. In addition to serving as the legislative branch of the county's government, the council is responsible for managing the Pierce County Sheriff's Office, public health and human services, public transportation (including the Pierce County Airport), wastewater management, parks, open space, trails, records, elections, and licensing. The council also has the ability to fill vacancies in the Washington House of Representatives and Washington State Senate. David Sawyer
David James Sawyer (born 1983) is an American politician of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party. He was a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 29th district from 2013 to 2019. On February 21, 2018, ''The Seattle Times'' reported that allegations of misconduct by Sawyer were being reviewed and that his contact with staff was restricted. On February 23, 2018, the Tacoma News Tribune reported that several women accused Sawyer of 'unprofessional, inappropriate behavior'. And in a Facebook post on March 13, 2018 the Chair of the Pierce County Democrats (Timothy Farrell) asked Sawyer to resign, which Sawyer did not do pending the results of the review. Sawyer placed third in the 2018 Washington primary and failed to advance to the general election. John Ladenburg
John W. Ladenburg Sr. (born September 19, 1949) is an American attorney and politician. Ladenburg was appointed to the Tacoma City Council in 1982 and elected to a full term in 1984. He was elected Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney in 1986, defeating incumbent Bill Griffies. Ladenburg served as Pierce County prosecutor fothree termsbefore becoming the county executive in 2001. He was re-elected County Executive in 2004, terming out November 2008. One of Ladenburg's principal accomplishments in office was spearheading the development of Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, a municipal facility that hosted the 2010 United States Amateur and 2015 U.S. Open golf championships.
