Comrades (band)
Comrades was an American rock band from Richmond, Virginia. The band started making music in 2008 and released a studio album, ''Safekeeper'', in 2014 via Blood and Ink Records. Their members are Joe McElroy (guitarist), and Laura Anne Reitzel (vocalist, bassist). Unclean vocalist and drummer Ben Trussell announced in June 2017 that he has decided to amicably part ways with the band and work on a solo musical project called BJORN. Former Life in Your Way and Conveyer drummer John Gaskill took over the mantle of drummer. In 2023, the band announced their disbanding in a formal statement. Music history The band commenced as a musical entity in February 2008, with their first release, ''Safekeeper'', a studio album, that was released on May 6, 2014, from Blood and Ink Records. Life In Your Way
Life in Your Way (also known as LIYW) is a Christian hardcore band from Connecticut. History Origins (1999-2002) The band was formed by two childhood friends Josh Kellam and Todd Mackey. Jeremy Kellam joined the band to play bass after the dissolution of his former band, which also included Casey McCue who played second guitar for a short period and was then replaced by Jason DiNitto. The band played many concerts throughout the Northeastern United States, quickly garnering acclaim and a rapidly multiplying fan-base. The band stayed a four piece for some time. At that time they befriended a band called Solace from New York, with whom they released a split CD entitled The Heart and Flesh Cry Out. My Epic is an American Christian rock band from Charlotte, North Carolina started in 2005. They released an independent EP in 2006 entitled ''This Is Rescue'', and two successive albums and one EP with Dreamt Records entitled ''I Am Undone'' (2008), ''Yet'' (2010) and 2011's ''Broken Voice'' EP. In 2013, the band released their debut album with Facedown Records entitled ''Behold'' that has seen commercial success.
