Composhield
Composhield A/S is a Danish armor manufacturer and integrator established in 2000. It develops, manufactures and assembles custom-built vehicle armour systems as well as composite add-on armor protection kits for lightweight military tactical trucks and APCs (wheeled & tracked) and commercial vehicles. Composhield was created in 1996 as an internal research project in the company Giantcode A/S. In 2000 it became an independent company as Composhield A/S. In 2007 Composhield A/S formed a joint-venture, AMTANK Armor LLC., together with American Tank & Fabricating Company, to serve the North American market. Composhield is a privately held company. Most composite armours are lighter than their all-metal equivalent, but instead occupy a larger volume for the same resistance to penetration. It is possible to design composite armour stronger, lighter and less voluminous than traditional armour, but the cost is often prohibitively high, restricting its use to especially vulnerable parts of a vehicle. Mercedes-Benz Actros
The Mercedes-Benz Actros is a heavy-duty truck introduced by Mercedes-Benz at the 1996 Commercial Vehicle IAA in Hanover, Germany as the replacement for the SK. URO VAMTAC
The URO VAMTAC () is a Spanish four-wheel drive military vehicle manufactured by UROVESA. Externally it is similar in appearance and design to the Humvee of the United States Military due to similar requirements. More than 2,000 of the vehicles have been delivered to the Spanish Armed Forces. Several other countries operate the VAMTAC as well, and it has seen service most recently in Afghanistan and Syria. The Anoa is a 6x6 armoured personnel carrier developed by PT Pindad of Indonesia. The vehicle is named after the Anoa, which is a type of buffalo indigenous to Indonesia. The prototype was first unveiled at the 61st anniversary of TNI on October 5, 2006, in TNI HQ at Cilangkap, east of capital Jakarta.
