Community Of Democratic Choice
The Community of Democratic Choice is an intergovernmental organization established on 2 December 2005, by nine states of Northern, Central and Eastern Europe in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was mainly signed by countries from the region between the Baltic Sea, Baltic, Black Sea and Caspian Sea ("The three Seas"). Its main task is to promote democracy, human rights, and the rule of law throughout the region. Temur Yakobashvili ( ka, თემურ იაკობაშვილი, also transliterated as Temur Iakobashvili) (born 3 September 1967) is a Georgian political scientist, diplomat, and politician, serving as State Minister for Reintegration since 2008; he was named Deputy Prime Minister in 2009. On 20 November 2010 his nomination as Ambassador to the United States was announced. After change of government in Georgia he resigned on 8 November 2013. Giorgi Arveladze ( ka, გიორგი არველაძე, born July 10, 1978) is a Georgian politician who served as the Minister of Economic Development from 2006 to 2008 under President Mikheil Saakashvili. Arveladze is an ally of Saakashvili and played a central role in the Rose Revolution of November 2003. Borys Ivanovych Tarasyuk (; born 1 January 1949) is a Ukrainian politician who twice served as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and a former MP who is since December 2019 Ukraine's permanent representative to the Council of Europe.
