"Comincia tu" ( en, "You start") is a song written by Massimiliano Pani and Piero Cassano for Italian singer Mina. The song was released as a single from the album '' Catene'' with "La nave" on the back in October 1984. The single was later re-released with a disco mix of "Comincia tu" and the song "Brigitte Bardot" as the b-side. Nevertheless, the single performed modestly on the charts. The song "Comincia tu" was the main theme of the second cycle of the television program ', broadcast from mid-February to mid-April 1985, which tells the second decade of Italian history from 1956 to 1965, through the most significant and salient facts of the period. Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. She was a staple of television variety shows and a dominant figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s, known for her three-octave vocal range, the agility of her soprano voice, and her image as an emancipated woman. In performance, Mina combined several modern styles with traditional Italian melodies and swing music, which made her the most versatile pop singer in Italian music. Nuccio Rinaldis (Milan 1943 - Milan 2015) was an Italian sound engineer. Biography Nuccio Rinaldis is best known in Italian pop music business for being lead sound engineer of Italian singer Mina for several years. Rinaldis's work can be traced in almost the singer's complete discography, both albums and singles from 1967 onwards, with the many hits he was involved in, first at Carlo Alberto Rossi's Fonorama Studio and later, for more than 10 years since the founding of PDU, at the La Basilica Studio in Milan, owned by Mina herself. Miguel Gustavo (24 March 1922 – 22 January 1972) was a Brazilian journalist, and songwriter. He made important contributions the Brazilian journalism, literature, and music. Biography Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1922, he started as a disc jockey for Radio Vera Cruz in 1941 and stood out as a jingle composer, in addition to having also made hits as a composer of sambas and marches. Later came the cycle of sambas de breque with Moreira da Silva. He continued in 1950 composing jingles, including Casas da Banha, which caused controversy for using an excerpt from the melody "Jesus, the joy of men" by J. S. Bach.
