Andrew James Comerford (born 10 October 1972) is an Irish retired hurling manager and former player who played for Kilkenny Senior Championship club O'Loughlin Gaels. He played for the London and Kilkenny senior hurling teams for nearly a decade, during which time he usually lined out at midfield or centre-forward. Comerford began his hurling career at junior club level with O'Loughlin Gaels. After a brief spell with the Brothers Pearse club in London, he returned to O'Loughlin Gaels and enjoyed his first success as a member of the 1996 Kilkenny Intermediate Championship-winning team and promotion to the top flight of Kilkenny hurling. Comerford later captained the club to the Leinster Club Championship in 2003 as well as two Kilkenny Senior Championships in 2001 and 2003. The F.M. Kirby Center (formerly known as the Comerford Theatre and Paramount Theatre) is a historic Art Deco-Moderne style movie theater located at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Walpole is a town in Cheshire County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 3,633 at the 2020 census. The town's central village, where 573 people resided at the 2020 census, is defined as the Walpole census-designated place (CDP) and is east of New Hampshire Route 12. Thomas Commerford Martin (July 22, 1856 – May 17, 1924) was an American electrical engineer and editor. Martin was born in Limehouse, England. His father worked with Lord Kelvin and other pioneers of submarine telegraph cables, and Martin worked on the cable-laying ship SS Great Eastern. Educated as a theological student, Martin travelled to the United States in 1877. He was associated with Thomas A. Edison in his work in 1877–1879 and thereafter engaged in editorial work. Frank Comerford Walker (May 30, 1886 – September 13, 1959) was an American lawyer and politician. He was the United States Postmaster General from 1940 until 1945, and the chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 1943 until 1944. Biography Frank Walker was born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, the son of David Walker, a grocer, and his wife, Ellen Comerford, but moved with his family to Montana when he was four years old. He attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington for three years and earned a law degree from Notre Dame in 1909. He then joined his older brother Thomas in a law practice in Butte, Montana. In 1913, he was elected to a term as a Montana state representative. During World War I, Walker volunteered for the U.S. Army. He became a first lieutenant and saw action on the Western Front.
