''Come to Daddy'' is an EP/mini-album by the British electronic music artist Aphex Twin. The EP's lead single, and the first track on the EP, " Come to Daddy (Pappy Mix)"—often simply called "Come to Daddy"—is one of Aphex Twin's best-known songs; it peaked at number 36 on the UK Singles Chart. Composition ''Come to Daddy'' has been described as featuring drum and bass beats throughout. Each mix of "Come to Daddy" is seemingly unrelated, with the "Little Lord Faulteroy" and "Mummy" mixes bearing no noticeable resemblance to the original "Pappy" mix. "To Cure a Weakling Child (Contour Regard)" is a remix of the song "To Cure a Weakling Child" from '' Richard D. James Album''. Six of ''Come to Daddy'' eight tracks feature vocals. Mini-album
A mini-LP or mini-album is a short record album or LP, usually retailing at a lower price than an album that would be considered full-length. It is distinct from an EP due to containing more tracks and a slightly longer running length. A mini-LP is not to be confused with the Japanese CDs issued in a " mini LP sleeve" or "paper jacket". Its running time is shorter than the typical album but longer than a single album. It is sometimes synonymous with extended play, especially in East Asia music market. However, some music distributors may classify mini albums with 7 or more songs as an album. Chris Cunningham
Chris Cunningham (born 15 October 1970) is an English video artist and music video director who directed music videos for electronic musicians such as Autechre, Squarepusher, and Aphex Twin and Björk. Early in his career he worked as a comic book artist. He has created art installations and directed short movies. In the mid 2000s, Cunningham began doing music production work, and has also designed album artwork for a variety of musicians. Cunningham worked on a never completed movie adaptation of William Gibson's cyberpunk novel '' Neuromancer.'' His style is noted for its use of robotics, body horror and Mickey mousing (syncing action with music).
