"Colours of You" is a song by British singer-songwriter Baby Queen. It was released on 22 April 2022 through Polydor Records and was originally composed for the '' Heartstopper'' soundtrack. The song features on the deluxe edition of Baby Queen's full-length debut studio album '' Quarter Life Crisis'' (2023). The song was written for the character Nick Nelson in ''Heartstopper'' when he discovers his bisexuality. Baby Queen was asked by ''Heartstopper'' author Alice Oseman Alice May Oseman (born 16 October 1994) is an English author and illustrator of young adult fiction. She secured her first publishing deal at 17 and published her first novel ''Solitaire'' in 2014. Arabella Latham (born 19 August 1997), known professionally as Baby Queen, is a South African singer based in London. Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, she moved to London at 18 to pursue a career in music and signed a recording contract with Polydor Records in 2020. Her first EP, ''Medicine'', was released in November 2020, followed by her debut mixtape, ''The Yearbook'', in September 2021. She made the long list for the Radio 1 Sound of 2022. ''Quarter Life Crisis'' is the debut studio album by South African singer and songwriter Baby Queen. It was released on 10 November 2023 through Polydor Records. It was entirely produced by King Ed with additional production from Baby Queen, Mark Ralph, Max Wolfgang, and Scott Culcombe. The lead single "Dream Girl" was released 9 June 2023, which was then followed by "We Can Be Anything" released 20 July 2023 ahead of its feature in Netflix's '' Heartstopper''.
