"Coloured Kisses" is the third single from American singer Martika's 1991 album, ''Martika's Kitchen''. The single did not chart in the US, and achieved minor chart positions in other countries. Marta Marrero (born May 18, 1969), better known by her stage name Martika ( ), is an American singer and actress. She rose to prominence as an actress, playing the role of Gloria in the television programme ''Kids Incorporated'' between 1984 and 1986. Following her appearance in the show, Martika signed a recording contract with Columbia Records, and in October 1988, released her self titled debut album to critical acclaim. It spawned the internationally successful single "Toy Soldiers", which peaked at number one on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 for two weeks. David Byron Cole (June 3, 1962 – January 24, 1995) was an American record producer. He was one half of the dance-music duo C+C Music Factory, which he founded with his musical partner Robert Clivillés. Clivillés and Cole also produced various hits for other artists such as Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Deborah Cooper, Whitney Houston, and many others. After Cole's death in 1995, Robert Clivillés continued to keep C+C Music Factory going through his own production work.
