ARIA Charts
The ARIA Charts are the main Australian record chart, music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling songs and albums in various genres in Australia. ARIA became the official Australian music chart in June 1988, succeeding the Kent Music Report, which had been Australia's national music sales charts since 1974. History The ''Go-Set'' charts were Australia's first national singles and albums charts, published from 5 October 1966 until 24 August 1974. Succeeding ''Go-Set'', the Kent Music Report began issuing the national top 100 charts in Australia from May 1974. The compiler, David Kent (historian), David Kent, also published Australia's national charts from 1940 to 1974 in a retrospective fashion using state-based data. Pnau, stylised as PNAU, is an Australian Electronic dance music, dance music trio originating from Sydney, Australia, Sydney. The trio, a duo before 2016, consists of the musicians Nick Littlemore (vocals, production), Peter Mayes (guitar, production) and Sam Littlemore (production), with the latter joining in 2016. Pnau first gained recognition through their 1999 debut album ''Sambanova'', which later won an ARIA Music Awards for ARIA Award for Best Dance Release, Best Dance Release. Their third album, ''Pnau (album), Pnau'' (2007), brought them further critical acclaim and success. "Chameleon" is a song by Pnau, released in November 2016 as the lead single from the band's fifth studio album, '' Changa'' (2017). It is co-written by band members, Nick Littlemore, his older brother Sam Littlemore, and Peter Mayes.
