Mick McGuane
Michael McGuane (born 29 December 1967) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented and in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the 1980s and 1990s. Playing career Early years (1987–1990) McGuane showed great promise for his local club Sebastopol in the Ballarat Football League. He made his senior debut for the club in 1985 while still a teenager and was a member of the side that lost heavily in the Grand Final to North Ballarat. Ignored by , who had the Ballarat region in their recruiting zone, were quick to pounce, and signed McGuane to their Under 19s squad for the 1986. McGuane made his senior debut 1987 with and showed great skills as a running midfielder. In 1988 he finished second to Peter Daicos in the Copeland Trophy count. Billy Picken
William Robert Picken (7 June 1956 – 23 July 2022) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and the Sydney Swans in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Picken was still at school when he arrived at Collingwood in 1974 from Macarthur as a forward and developed into a talented centre-half back. Despite playing in four losing grand finals, Picken maintained his reputation as a finals performer and was recognised for his contributions when he was named in the Collingwood Team of the Century. A notable example of his exploits was a spectacular mark in the 1979 grand final. Picken was a dashing defender, capable of taking a spectacular mark and dashing off with the ball turning defence into attack in an instant. Harold Rumney
Harold Waldmere Rumney (16 May 1907 – 16 November 1987) was an Australian rules footballer. Rumney was rejected by Carlton Football Club after 15 games in two seasons and transferred to Collingwood Football Club. His arrival at Collingwood was fortuitous. Darren Millane
Darren Millane (9 August 1965 – 7 October 1991) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Millane died in a car accident at the age of 26, only a year after starring in the Magpies' drought-breaking premiership. Early life Darren Millane was one of three sons born to Robert Joseph Millane and his wife Denise. His brothers, John and Sean, also played football for Dandenong. Fraser Gehrig (born 3 March 1976) is a retired Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL) .
