Frank O'Connor (director)
Frank O'Connor (died November 22, 1959) was an American character actor and director involved in approximately 300 productions. He was a director of several films; he also penned multiple screenplays. Career In 1920, Frank O'Connor arrived in Hollywood, where he joined the Lasky Players. Henry Miller mentored him. Later, O'Connor was a freelance writer and character actor. After a career as a film director, he attempted to produce his own and, in the words of the ''San Francisco Examiner'', "went broke"; he subsequently worked as an extra. Personal life O'Connor was married to a woman named Susan, and they had three children; he died in Los Angeles, California on November 22, 1959, at 78 years old. Sarah Padden
Sarah Ann Padden (16 October 1881 – 4 December 1967) was an English-born American theatre and film character actress. She performed on stage in the early 20th century. Her best-known single-act performance was in ''The Clod'', a stage production in which she played an uneducated woman who lived on a farm during the American Civil War. Early life Born in England to an Irish immigrant father, Michael Padden, and an English mother, the family emigrated to the United States on the S/S ''Ohio'' from England passing through the Port of Philadelphia in 1889. The future actress took part in recitations in the Catholic school she attended in Chicago, where her fellow students enjoyed her talent as a mimic. Her parents wanted her to enter a convent, but a liberal-minded priest, Father Dorney, encouraged her ambition to become an actress. Carl Stockdale
Carl Stockdale also known as Carlton Stockdale (February 19, 1874 – March 15, 1953) was one of the longest-working Hollywood veteran actors, with a career dating from the early 1910s. He also made the difficult transition from silent films to talkies. Stockdale was born on February 19, 1874, in Worthington, Minnesota, graduated from Minneapolis Central High School, and attended the University of North Dakota. Before he began working with films, Stockdale was a property man with a repertory theatrical company headed by his brother. He went on to act on stage in repertory theater and in vaudeville. Stockdale was in Hollywood as early as 1913 with a small role in Gilbert M. Anderson's ''Broncho Billy's Last Deed''. He worked with that film franchise for two years before joining D. W.
