''Collapsible Lung'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Relient K. To date, it is their only album not to be produced or co-produced by Mark Lee Townsend. Background and production In May 2012, the group posted that they were working on new material. Later that month, the group posted a studio video update, followed by another in early June. In July and August, the group went on a tour of the US with Hellogoodbye, William Beckett and House of Heroes. While on the tour, the group played a new track, entitled "Boomerang". Matthew Thiessen described the album as being different from their other material, stating, "We made it a point to pull back all of our usual tricks in the recording process, and forced ourselves to determine how to present each song in the best and most concise way. Relient K () is an American Rock music, rock band formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio by Matt Thiessen, Matt Hoopes, and Brian Pittman during their third year in high school and time at Malone University in Canton. The band is named after guitarist Hoopes' automobile, a Plymouth Reliant Chrysler K platform, K car, with the spelling intentionally altered to avoid trademark infringement over the ''Reliant'' name. The group is associated with the contemporary Christian music culture, most notably the Christian rock and Christian punk, punk scene. They have also performed alongside secular artists. It consists heavily of Mike and Shannon Mains, however, their newest members are Alex Hirlinger, Robbie Barnett, and Allison Barnett. The Warped Tour is a Concert tour, touring Rock music, rock music festival that toured the United States and Canada each summer from 1995 until 2019, and returned in 2025 for its 30th anniversary. The Rocketboys is an indie rock band from Austin, Texas. History Formerly known as Homer Hiccolm & the Rocketboys, the band formed late 2005 in Abilene, Texas. The original line-up met while they were attending Abilene Christian University. Singer Brandon Kinder entered the (at that time) informal group in a college battle-of-the-bands and needed a name.
