Colin Penman
Colin Penman (born September 8, 1967) is a Canadian makeup artist and makeup effects artist. In 2011, he won a Prime Time Emmy Award and received a Gemini nomination for his work on The Kennedys. Other notable credits include work on the feature films Pacific Rim, Total Recall, Hairspray and the Saw franchise. Television credits include Monsters, Defiance, Copper, The Strain and Killjoys. Personal life Penman was born in Toronto, Ontario. At age sixteen, he moved to Simi Valley, California. In 1988, Penman attended The Institute Of Studio Makeup, in Studio City, and promptly entered the makeup effects industry in Hollywood. Penman has since returned to living in Toronto and has also worked in South Africa, Brazil, Malta, India and Sri Lanka. He is married with two children. Simi Valley (; Chumash: ''Shimiyi'') is a city in the valley of the same name in the southeast region of Ventura County, California, United States. Simi Valley is from Downtown Los Angeles, making it part of the Greater Los Angeles Area. The city sits next to Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, and Chatsworth. YTV (TV Channel)
YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers; its name was originally thought to be an abbreviation for "Youth Television", though the channel's website has denied this. The channel was launched on September 1, 1988 by owners Rogers Media and CUC Broadcasting upon launch. In 1995, Shaw Communications acquired CUC's 34% stake and in 1998, it acquired Rogers' remaining interest of the channel, before Shaw's media division was spun off to form Corus Entertainment in 1999. Ants In Your Pants
''Ants in Your Pants'' is a Canadian children's music video television program made and aired by Treehouse TV that ran from November 1, 1997 to June 15, 2004. The series was created and produced by Kathilee Porter. Plot The show's intro consists mostly of CGI animations with the "Ants In Your Pants" theme, written by children's music artist Douglas John, whose music videos also appear on the show. The host, a puppet monkey in corduroy overalls, named Lickety Split, then takes over. He lives in a tree with his mother (who is not seen, only heard or mentioned). He usually explains what he has been doing lately. A music video is shown. Usually, there are three music videos, separated by Lickety segments. After the last music video is played, an image of scattered leaves is shown before the next Lickety segment. Fuzz Paws
The Fuzzpaws are a group of seven puppets which co-hosted the Treehouse programming block on YTV in the 1990s. When the block was cancelled in 1998 in favor of an unhosted block called YTV Jr., the Fuzzpaws got their own TV series and a marketed toy line. Radical Sheep Productions was a Canadian television production company known for producing series including '' The Next Step'', ''Stella and Sam'', and ''The Big Comfy Couch'', the latter a Gemini Award-winning series for preschoolers which produced seven seasons and aired for over ten years on YTV and Treehouse TV in Canada and public television stations in the United States. Killjoys
''Killjoys'' is a Canadian space adventure drama series that aired on Space (now CTV Sci-Fi) in Canada.
