Colin Neil Gosine
Colin Neil Gosine is a Trinidad and Tobago politician from the United National Congress (UNC). He has been MP for Chaguanas West in the House of Representatives since 2025. He succeeded Dinesh Rambally. Previously he was director of the National Petroleum Marketing Company. On 3 May 2025 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar. Dinesh Rambally
Pandit Dinesh Rambally is a Trinidadian and Tobagonian politician, attorney, and Hindu priest from the United National Congress and an executive member of the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha. He represented Chaguanas West in the House of Representatives from 2020 until 2025. He is of Indo-Trinidadian descent. He intended to stand again at the 2025 Trinidad and Tobago general election. He later withdrew his candidacy. He was highly critical of his party leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar. He cited "divisive racial rhetoric" in his party for his decision. He endorsed the People's National Movement (PNM) of Stuart Young. United National Congress
The United National Congress ( UNC or UNCTT) is one of two major political parties in Trinidad and Tobago. The UNC is a Centre-left politics, centre-left party. It was founded in 1989 by Basdeo Panday, a Trinidadian lawyer, economist, trade unionist, and actor after a split in the ruling National Alliance for Reconstruction (NAR). After spending six years in opposition, the UNC won control of the government in 1995, initially in coalition with the NAR and later on its own. In the 2000 Trinidad and Tobago general election, 2000 general election, the UNC won an absolute majority in the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago, Parliament. General elections were held in Trinidad and Tobago on 28 April 2025 to elect all 41 members of the House of Representatives. President Christine Kangaloo, on the advice of Prime Minister Stuart Young, dissolved parliament and issued the writs for election on 18 March 2025.
