Colin Cloherty
Colin Joseph Cloherty (born September 16, 1987) is a former American football tight end. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Brown. Cloherty was also a member of the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Atlanta Falcons. Professional career Indianapolis Colts Cloherty was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts on April 30, 2009. He was waived on August 31. He played in the final game of the season, catching 1 pass for 2 yards. Cleveland Browns On October 21, 2009, Cloherty was signed to the practice squad of the Cleveland Browns. The tight end (TE) is an offense (sports), offensive position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football. It is a hybrid that combines the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a receiver (football), receiver. As part of the receiver corps, they play inside the flanks (tight), contrasted with the split end who plays outside the flanks (wide). Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. Brett Michael Brackett (born December 13, 1987) is a former American football tight end. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football for Penn State. Brackett grew up in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, New Jersey, where he attended Lawrence High School. College career Brackett attended Penn State. In 2010, as a senior, he was the a co-captain along with Ollie Ogbu, who would later join him in the professional ranks on the Eagles roster. Though he was initially recruited as a quarterback, he converted to wide receiver where, during his senior season, he was quite formidable out of the slot. He caught 39 balls for 525 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2010.
