Colby Genoway
Colby Genoway (born December 12, 1983) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who most recently played for Kölner Haie of the German Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career On July 11, 2006, he was signed by the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL as a free agent to a two-year contract. A few months later, on January 24, 2007, he was traded to the Vancouver Canucks for Joe Rullier. However, he never got to play with either of these two teams in the NHL. He played for the Hartford Wolf Pack, the Portland Pirates and the Manitoba Moose in the AHL instead. He went on to play in Sweden, Finland and Czech Republic before making his way to Switzerland in 2010. Morden is a city located in the Pembina Valley region of southern Manitoba, Canada near the United States border. EHC Biel
EHC Biel-Bienne is a professional ice hockey club based in the bilingual city of Biel/Bienne, Switzerland and plays in the National League (NL). Since the city of Biel is completely bilingual, alongside the German name EHC Biel (Abbr: EHCB) the team also has a French name, HC Bienne (Abbr: HCB). SC Langnau Tigers
SC Langnau Tigers are a professional ice hockey team from Langnau im Emmental, Switzerland. They play in the National League (NL). The team plays its home games in the 6,000-seat Ilfis Stadium, which is currently one of the smallest arenas in the NL. History Originally formed as the Ice skating club Langnau, the team was founded on 30 January 1946. The 1948–49 season started in the summer due to the planing on the grounds of the Napro, where the ice rink was to be built. The ice rink began operation on 26 December 1948. The Swiss League is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League. The winners of the league each season plays a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of the NL, and if they win, they are promoted, while the National League team is relegated to the Swiss League. The National League (NL) is a professional ice hockey league in Switzerland and is the top tier of the Swiss league system. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was known as National League A. During the 2018–19 season, the league had an average of 6,949 spectators per game which is the highest among European leagues (ahead of the KHL with 6,397 and the DEL with 6,215). The capital city's club SC Bern has been ranked first of all European clubs for 18 seasons and had an average attendance of 16,290 after the regular season. The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team. When NHL teams do not have an AHL affiliate, players are assigned to AHL teams affiliated with other NHL teams. Joe Rullier (born January 28, 1980) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He last played for Laval Braves of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH). Rullier was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the fifth round (133rd overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to turning professional, Rullier played four season for Rimouski Océanic from the 1996–1997 season until 1999-2000.
