Coke Studio India (season 1)
The first season of the Indian music television series, ''Coke Studio @ MTV'', ran from June 17, 2011, to August 19, 2011. The season featured nine regular episodes, culminating in a special "Best of Coke Studio @ MTV Season 1" episode. Origins & Format Coke Studio's journey began in Brazil in 2007. It started as a music project that brought together different Brazilian artists and blended their unique styles. The concept arrived in Pakistan in 2008 through a collaboration between Nadeem Zaman, Coca-Cola's Marketing Head, joined forces with Rohail Hyatt, a former member of the band Vital Signs. Together, they launched the Pakistani version of the show. The first season premiered in June 2008. Initially featuring a live audience, the show later transitioned to a closed studio format, which has remained consistent throughout the series. MTV India
MTV is an Indian pay television channel specialising in music, reality and youth culture programming. It was launched in 1996 as the Indian version of the original American network and is owned by JioStar, under a license agreement with Paramount Networks EMEAA. Most of the programming on the channel is produced in Hindi. MTV India has its headquarters in Vile Parle in Mumbai. Benny Dayal
Benny Dayal (born 13 May 1984) is a UAE-born Indian playback singer. He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Marathi and more languages films. He is a member of the band S5, launched by SS Music TV channel. He made his acting debut in the Malayalam movie '' By the People'', a suspense thriller. Shankar Mahadevan (born 3 March 1967) is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio that writes music for Indian films. In 2023, he was awarded an honorary doctorate (''honoris causa'' degree) by Birmingham City University. Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan (; ; born 26 February 1965) is a Pakistani pop and classical singer, songwriter, and composer belonging to the Patiala Gharana tradition of music. He was the lead vocalist of the Pakistani pop rock band Fuzön until 2006 and is a prominent playback singer in the Indian film industry and Pakistani television industry. Sabri Brothers
The Sabri Brothers (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ) were a musical band from Pakistan who were performers of Sufi qawwali music and were closely connected to the Chishti Order. They are considered one of the greatest Sufi qawwali singers of all times. The Sabri Brothers were led by Ghulam Farid Sabri and his brother Maqbool Ahmed Sabri. They are often referred to as ''Shahenshah-e-Qawwali'' (the King of Kings of Qawwali) and are also known as ''the roving ambassadors of Pakistan''.
