The second edition of the Bangladeshi music television series Coke Studio Bangla started airing from 14 February 2023. Like the previous season this season is also produced by Shayan Chowdhury Arnob and distributed by Coca-Cola Bangladesh. Spotify is the official music streaming partner of this season, and Grameenphone being their official teleco partner. Kazi Nazrul Islam
Kazi Nazrul Islam (24 May 1899 – 29 August 1976) was a Bengalis, Bengali poet, short story writer, journalist, lyricist and musician. He is the national poet of Bangladesh. Nazrul produced a List of works by Kazi Nazrul Islam, large body of poetry, music, messages, novels, and stories with themes, that included equality, justice, anti-imperialism, humanity, rebellion against oppression and religious devotion. Nazrul Islam's activism for political and social justice as well as writing a poem titled as "Bidrohī", meaning "the rebel" in Bengali, earned him the title of "Bidrohī Kôbi" (''Rebel Poet''). Hason Raja
Dewan Hason Raja Chowdhury, or simply known as Hason Raja (; 21 December 1854 – 6 December 1922), was a Bengali mystic poet and songwriter from Sylhet, Bengal Presidency (now Bangladesh). His unique style of music made him one of the most prominent figures in Bengali folk culture. Shubhashish Mazumder Bappa (born 5 February 1972), better known as Bappa Mazumder, is a Bangladeshi singer, lyricist and music composer. Adity Mohsin is a Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer. Early life Mohsin joined Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA). She met music composers Abdul Ahad and Fazle Nizami and completed her diploma in Rabindra Sangeet in 1988. She completed her IA from Holy Cross College, Dhaka. In 1992, with a scholarship from the Indian government, she went to Sangit Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan to study music. Srijato
Srijato Bandyopadhyay is an Indian poet of the Bengali language. He won the Ananda Puroskar in 2004 for his book ''Udanta Sawb Joker: All Those Flying Jokers''. In 2014, he won the Filmfare Awards East 2014, Filmfare Awards East for Best Lyricist for the song 'Balir Shohor' from ''Mishawr Rawhoshyo, 'Mishawr Rawhoshyo'''. Sur Kshetra is a 2012 singing talent show or musical battle between teams of two neighboring countries: Pakistan and India. The show is hosted by Indian actress Ayesha Takia. Fuad Almuqtadir is a Bangladeshi-American composer and arranger. Early life Fuad left Bangladesh in 1988 to New York city with his family. Fuad grew up with the NRB community of New York City where he learned about Bangladeshi culture and music.
