Cody Porter
Cody Porter (born 23 September 1997) is a Canadians, Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for Starbulls Rosenheim in DEL2. Porter has previously represented SaiPa, Tappara and Porin Ässät (men's ice hockey), Ässät in the SM-liiga, Finnish Elite League, KH Zagłębie Sosnowiec in the Polska Hokej Liga, Iisalmen Peli-Karhut, IPK Iisalmi and Rovaniemen Kiekko, RoKi in the Mestis. Career For the 2022–2023 season, Porter moved to the Rovaniemen Kiekko, Rovaniemen Kiekko's Mestis team with a one-year contract.In February 2023, RoKi loaned Porter to Tappara with a contract extending to February 12. Tappara signed Porter to patch up injuries on the goaltender front. On February 13, Porin Ässät (men's ice hockey), Ässät announced that Porter would join the team with a contract covering the rest of the 2022–23 Liiga season. Porin Ässät ry is a sports club based in Pori, Finland. The club's only programs are ice hockey and esports, but it used to have an association football program. Porin Ässät ry operates an ice hockey team in the Finnish Elite League. Porin Ässät ry also has junior teams for all age groups from U7 to U20. Porin Ässät ry also operate a women's ice hockey school and the girl's junior ice hockey department while also operating a skating school. Niklas Rubin
Niklas Rubin (born December 23, 1995) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender. He currently plays for Oulun Kärpät of the Liiga. Rubin has previously played for Luleå HF and Frölunda HC in the SHL, and for Porin Ässät of the Liiga. Rubin has also played for the Swedish national hockey team. Career Professional Frölunda Indians (2019–2022) In 2019 Rubin moved to Frölunda Indians with a two-year contract. The 2022–23 Liiga season was the 48th season of the Liiga, the top level of ice hockey in Finland, since the league's formation in 1975. Mestis
Mestis (from , meaning 'Championship series', stylized as MEST1S) is the second-highest men's ice hockey league in Finland. The league was established by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association in 2000 to replace the I-divisioona ('First Division'). Being promoted to SM-liiga is possible if a Mestis team beats a SM-liiga club in the qualification series and matches all the criteria set by the SM-liiga. Mestis, however, is an open league where relegation and promotion are possible with the 3rd league, Suomi-sarja. Mestis is also the highest league governed by the FIHA.
