Cody Kessler
Cody David Kessler (born May 11, 1993) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the USC Trojans, and was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft. Early life Kessler attended Centennial High School in Bakersfield, California, and played for Centennial's football team. As a senior, he threw for 2,831 yards and 36 touchdowns. He was the California Gatorade Football Player of the Year. He was ranked as the second best pro-style quarterback recruit by Rivals.com. He was teammates with Jared Norris at Centennial High School. 2013 Stanford Cardinal Football Team
The 2013 Stanford Cardinal football team represented Stanford University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Cardinal were led by third-year head coach David Shaw. They played their home games at Stanford Stadium and were members of the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference. Max Nolan Wittek (born July 31, 1993) is a former American football quarterback. He played at USC from 2011 to 2013, and transferred to Hawaii, sitting out the 2014 season. 2012 Colorado Buffaloes Football Team
The 2012 Colorado Buffaloes football team represented the University of Colorado Boulder in the Pac-12 Conference during the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Led by second-year head coach and alumnus Jon Embree, the Buffaloes played home games on campus at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado. The season was a disaster for the Buffaloes, who were regularly blown out by their opponents. CU lost to FCS Sacramento State, and only managed a single win with a late comeback at Washington State in Mike Leach's first season with the Cougars. Two days after the season on November 25, Embree was fired; he compiled a record, including 1–11 in his final year. To date, this is the worst season in program history. Matthew Montgomery Barkley (born September 8, 1990) is an American professional football quarterback. He played college football for the USC Trojans, setting set the Pac-12 Conference season record for touchdown passes as a junior. Due to suffering a shoulder injury in his senior season, Barkley was not selected until the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He has been a member of 11 different NFL teams, mostly as a backup. Barkley had his most notable stint with the Chicago Bears in 2016 where he served as the team's starter. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see "#Use of status, Use of status" section). Jared Scott Norris (born July 19, 1993) is an American former professional football linebacker who played for the Carolina Panthers and Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL). He played high school football at Centennial High School in Bakersfield, California, where he was a three-year starter and three-year letterman. He also earned All-State honors his senior year. Norris played college football at Utah, where he was a three-year starter and four-year letterman. His senior year in 2015, he was named second-team All-Pac-12 and played in the Senior Bowl.
