''Coco'' is a 2017 American animated fantasy comedy-drama film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It was directed by Lee Unkrich, co-directed by Adrian Molina, and produced by Darla K. Anderson, from a screenplay written by Molina and Matthew Aldrich, and a story by Unkrich, Molina, Aldrich, and Jason Katz, based on an original idea conceived by Unkrich. The film stars the voices of Anthony Gonzalez, Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Alanna Ubach, Renée Victor, Ana Ofelia Murguía, and Edward James Olmos. ''Coco'' is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. The album was released on July 10, 2007, in the United States through Universal Republic. After her prominence on MySpace - following several shots at singing competitions - the singer enlisted English producer Mikal Blue to help her bringing her sound to the forefront, thus recording what would be her debut album. ''Coco'' is a 1969 Broadway musical with a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by André Previn, inspired by the life of Coco Chanel. Katharine Hepburn starred in the title role, her first and only in a stage musical. Background Theatre producer Frederick Brisson originally had optioned Chanel's life for his wife Rosalind Russell, but Russell had developed acute arthritis, making it difficult for her to function. That meant another leading lady with star quality needed to be found. Rafael Collado García (born 1 July 1969), known as Coco, is a Spanish former footballer who played initially as a right-back, and later in his career as a centre-back. He began his career with Albacete Balompié, and played with them for the most successful period of his career.
