Coast-to-Coast Trail
The Coast-to-Coast Trail (C2C) is a 250 mile continuous multi-use trail across the state of Florida that is currently under construction. As of May 2025, the trail is 88% complete. The majority of the unfinished trail is along Florida State Road 50. The trail will provide a path connecting the Gulf of Mexico, particularly St. Petersburg, on peninsular Florida's west coast to the Atlantic Ocean, particularly Titusville, on Florida's east coast. Funding Legislation funding the trail with $50 million was vetoed in 2013 by Governor Rick Scott in 2013. Multi-use Trail
A shared-use path, mixed-use path or multi-use pathway is a path which is "designed to accommodate the movement of pedestrians and cyclists". Examples of shared-use paths include sidewalks designated as shared-use, bridleways and rail trails. A shared-use path typically has a surface that is asphalt, concrete or firmly packed crushed aggregate. Shared-use paths differ from cycle tracks and cycle paths in that shared-use paths are designed to include pedestrians even if the primary anticipated users are cyclists. The path may also permit other users such as inline skating. Contrastingly, motorcycles and mopeds are normally prohibited. Shared-use paths sometimes provide different lanes for users who travel at different speeds to prevent conflicts between user groups on high-use trails. Starkey Wilderness Preserve
Starkey Wilderness Preserve is a public recreation and nature conservation area located in Pasco County, Florida. The park includes a system of hiking, bicycling, and equestrian trails, cabins and primitive camping sites, and picnic areas. It is named after Jay B. Starkey, a cattle rancher who bought the property in 1937 and later donated hundreds of acres. The Preserve consists of three tracts: the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park, managed by Pasco County, and Serenova Tract and the Anclote River Ranch Tract, managed by Southwest Florida Water Management District. The area includes sections of pine flatwoods, cypress domes, freshwater marshes, stream and lake swamps, sandhill and scrub over a combined "wetland ecosystem spread throughout approximately 18,000 acres of conservation lands". The Seminole-Wekiva Trail is a paved multi-use trail in Seminole County, Florida. It stretches almost 14 miles. A section of it is part of the Florida National Scenic Trail. West Orange Trail
The West Orange Trail is a long multi-use rail trail owned by Orange County Parks and Recreation in Orange County, Florida, in the United States. The paved trail passes through downtown Oakland, Winter Garden, and Apopka with most of its length built on old railroad alignments. To the west of the West Orange Trail is the South Lake-Lake Minneola Scenic Trail in Lake County which was connected to the trail in 2007. Stations There are four main stations on the West Orange Trail, each providing parking, restroom facilities, bike racks and drinking fountains. All have picnic tables and playground and some with concession stands. Bike and skates rental are available at the Killarney Station. The Chapin Station has a basketball court and tennis courts. Parking possibilities are also provided at seven outposts located in between the stations, some with drinking fountain and portable toilet.

South Lake Trail
South Lake Trail is a multi-use trail in Lake County, Florida. It is a slightly over 12.5-mile trail encompassing the Lake Minneola Scenic Trail and connecting to the 22-mile West Orange Trail.
