Clément Diop Degoud (born 13 October 1993) is a Senegalese footballer who plays for Atlanta United in Major League Soccer. Career Early career Diop began his career with Amiens where he was a backup for three seasons, but never made a first team appearance. Diop was the starter of Amiens II, Amiens' reserve team for two seasons. Diop made his debut for Amiens II on 25 August 2012, against Calais RUFC, where he came a clean-sheet in a 1–0 win. Diop went on to keep clean-sheets in the following two matches, against Arras and SC Feignies. LA Galaxy On 20 March 2015, it was announced that Diop joined USL club LA Galaxy II for the 2015 season. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC. The 2015 USL season was the fifth season of the United Soccer League (USL) and the first under its new name (previously the league was called USL Pro). This season represented a substantial expansion from 14 teams in 2014 to 24 teams in 2015, and the division of the league into two conferences.
