Cláudia Cruz
Cláudia Cordeiro Cruz (born 19 June 1967 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian journalist. She was an anchor on Fantástico, Jornal Hoje and RJTV. Claudia is married to politician Eduardo Cunha, former president of the Chamber of Deputies (away by order of the Supreme Court), with whom he has a daughter and three stepsons. Claudia provides services to various companies and has been questioned in personal spending function. Claudia is an associate of Cunha in some companies, including Jesus.com and C3 productions. On June 9, 2016, Claudia Cruz was a defendant in the process of Operation Carwash corruption case. Judge Sergio Moro accepted the allegations of the Federal Prosecutor who says she was aware of the crimes practiced and is the only parent of the account in the name of ''offshore'' Köpek, Switzerland, through which paid credit card spending abroad in an amount exceeding US$1 million within seven years between 2008 and 2014. Eduardo Cunha
Eduardo Cosentino da Cunha (born 29 September 1958), is a Brazilian politician and radio host, born in Rio de Janeiro. He was President of the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil from February 2015 until 5 May 2016, when he was removed from the position by the Supreme Court. BBC News labeled him the "nemesis" of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. He was indicted in the scandal known as Operation Car Wash (Portuguese: ''Operação Lava Jato'') involving the state-owned oil company Petrobras and other corporations. Cunha was suspended as speaker of the Chamber of Deputies by the Supreme Court on the request of the Prosecutor-General due to allegations that he had attempted to intimidate members of Congress and obstructed investigations into his alleged bribe-taking. ''Jornal Hoje'' is a news program aired by the Brazilian television broadcaster TV Globo. The program is broadcast in the early afternoon from Monday to Saturday as part of a news block that also includes '' Praça TV'' and ''Globo Esporte''. Operation Carwash
Operation Car Wash (, ) was a landmark anti-corruption probe in Brazil.Kurtenbach, S., & Nolte, D. (2017). Latin America's Fight against Corruption: The End of Impunity. Beginning in March 2014 as the investigation of a small car wash in Brasília over money laundering, the proceedings uncovered a massive corruption scheme in the Brazilian federal government, particularly in state-owned enterprises. The probe was conducted through antitrust regulator. Evidence was collected and presented to the court system by a team of federal prosecutors led by Deltan Dallagnol, while the judge in charge of the operation was Sergio Moro.
