Clyde Valley Racing
Clyde Valley Racing (also known as CVR) are a British motorsport team. For 2009 they entered the British Touring Car Championship for the first time, with two SEAT Leóns under the Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing banner, having secured Cartridge World as their main sponsor. For their debut season in the BTCC, they acquired the driving services of experienced Dan Eaves and Adam Jones. Colin Neill is the team principal with former Williams F1 engineer Doug Bebb as team manager. CVR aimed to enter the BTCC as the series first ever carbon neutral team. 2009 British Touring Car Championship Season
The 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season was the 52nd British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. It began at Brands Hatch on the Indy layout on 5 April and finished after 30 races over 10 events on the Grand Prix layout at Brands Hatch on 4 October. Colin Turkington won the championship for the first time, ahead of Jason Plato and Fabrizio Giovanardi. The season also saw Airwaves BMW score their first win in the series when Rob Collard won the second race of the day at the opening meeting at Brands Hatch. The team seemed to have added a second win in race three as Jonathan Adam crossed the line first but he was demoted to second after making contact with Jason Plato handing Plato the win. Dan Eaves
Dan Eaves (born 3 June 1975 in Worcestershire) is a British auto racing driver. He competed in the British Touring Car Championship between 2000 and 2005, and again in 2009, winning a total of six races (including a triple-race clean sweep at Thruxton in 2005) and claimed a best finish of third place in the drivers' championship in 2005. Career Eaves started racing karts in 1990 before switching to the Halfords MG Midget Challenge in 1994, finishing 3rd. In 1995 he came second in the Caterham K Series Championship. Adam Scott Jones (born 9 August 1980, in Birmingham) is an English auto racing driver. Early career He competed successfully in Formula 3 and Formula Renault in France, before switching to GT racing. Three years of irregular drives in both the FIA and British GT championships where followed by a stint in the Le Mans Endurance series alongside Sascha Maassen, winning his class at the Nürburgring.
