ClubsNSW is an Australian organisation that lobbies for the Hospitality industry. It is the peak organisation for gambling and hospitality venues in the state of New South Wales, and represents over 1,000 registered clubs statewide. It is a subsidiary of the nationwide peak body Clubs Australia. Described as one of the most powerful lobbying organisations in Australia, it has exerted considerable influence within New South Wales, and has been embroiled in several controversies. Troy Stolz
Troy Graham Stolz is an Australian whistleblower and gambling reform advocate. He is currently serving as a councillor for the Upper Hunter Shire Council since the 2024 New South Wales local government elections. He was the head of ClubsNSW's anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism unit until 2019. He leaked an internal report that stated that 95% of registered clubs in New South Wales were non-compliant with anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism laws. ClubsNSW lawsuit Stolz was sued by ClubsNSW, with the former employer arguing that he owed a duty of confidence, and that Stolz had used confidential documents in his consulting work after leaving ClubsNSW. George Peponis
George Peponis (born Georgios Peponis ; on 3 September 1953) is a Greek Australian company director and former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. An Australia national and New South Wales state representative , he played in the NSWRFL Premiership for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, with whom he won the 1980 Grand Final.
