Clube Atlético Monte Líbano, abbreviated as C.A. Monte Líbano and CAML, is a Brazilian men's professional basketball club that is based in São Paulo, Brazil. History C.A. Monte Líbano won the regional São Paulo State Basketball Championship, São Paulo State Championship three times, and the national Brazilian Basketball Championship, Brazilian Championship title 5 times. Jorge Guerra (born 21 June 1959), also commonly known in Brazil as Jorge Guerrinha, is a Brazilian former professional basketball player and coach. Amaury Antônio Pasos (December 11, 1935 – December 12, 2024), also commonly known simply as Amaury, was a Brazilian basketball player and coach of Argentine origin. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, he was a tall power forward. He competed at three Olympic Games and was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991. He was awarded the Brazil Former Athlete Olympic Prize in 2003. He was enshrined into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007. Raymond Anthony Townsend (born December 20, 1955) is an American former professional basketball player. He played three seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers. Townsend played college basketball with the UCLA Bruins, earning all-conference honors in the Pacific-8 (known later as the Pac-12). High school Born in Oroville, California, Smith graduated from Oroville High School, where he played basketball, in 1973. He was an All-Star, all four years that he played for the Tigers. College career Smith started his college basketball career at Butte Community College, where he played from 1973 to 1975.
