Club Egara
Club Egara is a Spanish sports club based in Terrassa, Catalonia. It was founded in 1935 with the name 'CD Armonia Egara'. It is best known for its professional field hockey department but it also has tennis, padel and golf sections. It plays in the Pla del Bon Aire facilities. It is one of the best teams in Spain, having won 15 Spanish league titles. Terrassa
Terrassa (, es, Tarrasa) is a city in the east central region of Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Barcelona, ''comarca'' of Vallès Occidental, of which it is the co-capital along with Sabadell. The name ''Terrassa'' derives from Latin ''Terracia'', either from earlier ''Terracium castellum'' (“earthen castle”), or meaning "terrace", "area of flat land". María Tost Forrellat (born 21 March 1994) is a field hockey player from Spain, who plays as a forward. Career Club hockey Tost plays hockey for Club Egara in the División de Honor in Spain, and has previously represented Mannheimer HC in the German Bundesliga. National teams Under–21 In 2013, Tost was a member of the Spanish Under–21 team at the FIH Junior World Cup in Mönchengladbach. Marc Recasens Llobet (born 13 September 1999) is a Spanish field hockey player who plays as a defender for Dutch Hoofdklasse club Rotterdam and the Spain national team. Club career Recasens played in the youth for Club Egara and played for the senior team until 2023, when he left Egara to play for Real Club de Polo. After the 2024 Summer Olympics, he moved to the Netherlands to play for Rotterdam. The 2018–19 División de Honor de Hockey Hierba was the 53rd season of the División de Honor de Hockey Hierba, the highest field hockey league in Spain.
