Club Deportivo Olimpia is a professional association football in Honduras, Honduran football club based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán Department, Francisco Morazán. The club is the nation's most successful team both in the domestic league and in international club competitions. History Olimpia was founded as a baseball club on June 12, 1912, by Héctor Pineda Ugarte, Carlos Bram, Arturo Bram, Enrique Buk, Santiago Buk, Miguel Sanchez, Samuel Inestrosa Gómez, and Ramón Escobar. Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés
The Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés () is a multi-purpose stadium in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. It is used mostly for association football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 and is the home of football clubs F.C. Motagua, Motagua and C.D. Olimpia, Olimpia. Wilmer Raynel Neal Velásquez (born April 28, 1972) is a retired Honduran Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He was regarded as one of the greatest footballers in Honduran soccer for C.D. Olimpia, Olimpia, and by foremost as the nation's greatest striker ever alongside Carlos Pavón. Michaell Anthony Chirinos Cortez (born 17 June 1995) is a Honduran professional footballer who plays as a winger for Liga Nacional club Olimpia and the Honduras national team. Club career On 14 June 2018, Chirinos signed with Lobos BUAP of Liga MX on a one-year loan from C.D. Olimpia. He scored his first goal on 4 February 2019 in a 1–1 draw against C.F. Pachuca. On 3 August 2019, Chirinos signed with Major League Soccer team Vancouver Whitecaps FC for the remainder of the season. Denilson Costa
Denilson Costa (born 10 June 1968) is a Brazilian and naturalized Honduran football coach and former player. He is currently the second all-time top scorer in the Honduran Liga Nacional and was also the first to reach 150 goals. Now he is a teacher in Honduras. Costa along with Marcelo Ferreira and Justin Arboleda are among the only naturalized Honduran nationals to have played for the Honduras national football team.
