Club Deportivo Broncos was a Honduran association football, football club based in Choluteca, Choluteca, Choluteca, Honduras. History The club bought C.D. Verdún's franchise in Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Honduras 1972-73, 1972–73. Verdún itself had taken over the Club Deportivo Atlético Español, Atlético Español franchise in 1971. Due to financial problems, the club sold its franchise to Pumas UNAH, Universidad and became ''Broncos UNAH'' after the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Honduras 1981-82, 1981–82 season and later just ''Universidad''.Honduras – Final Tables 1965/66-1994/95
