Clozure CL
Clozure CL (CCL) is a Common Lisp implementation. It implements the full ANSI Common Lisp standard with several extensions ( CLOS MOP, threads, CLOS conditions, CLOS streams, ...). It contains a command line development environment, an experimental integrated development environment (IDE) for Mac OS X using the Hemlock editor, and can also be used with SLIME (a Common Lisp development environment for GNU Emacs). Clozure CL is open source and the project is hosted by Clozure Associates. Supported platforms Clozure CL supports the Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris and Microsoft Windows platforms. There are 32 and 64 bit x86 variants for each. Additionally, there are PowerPC ports for Mac OS X and Linux, and a 32-bit ARM port for Linux. Common Lisp (CL) is a dialect of the Lisp programming language, published in American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard document ''ANSI INCITS 226-1994 (S2018)'' (formerly ''X3.226-1994 (R1999)''). Macintosh Common Lisp (MCL) is an implementation and IDE for the Common Lisp programming language. Various versions of MCL run under the classic Mac OS (m68k and PPC) and Mac OS X. Versions of MCL up to and including 5.1 are proprietary. Version 5.2 has been open sourced. In 2009 a new different version of MCL has been open sourced: RMCL. RMCL is based on MCL 5.1 and does run under Rosetta on Intel-based Macs. It contains information on schedules and fares and contains a database of reservations (or passenger name records) and of tickets issued (if applicable).
