Cloud County Community College
Cloud County Community College is a public community college with campuses in Concordia and Junction City, Kansas. Concordia campus Cloud County Community College was founded in Concordia in 1965 and began classes in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School. The college moved to its present site in 1968. The architecture of the main campus is that of "pods" which are designed to evoke the rolling hills of the area. The athletic teams are known as the Thunderbirds (men) and Lady Thunderbirds (women). CCCC was the 2001 NJCAA national champion in women's basketball, 2010 Men's Soccer, 2019 Men's Outdoor Track and Field, and 2019 Men's Cross Country. Concordia, Kansas
Concordia is a city in and the county seat of Cloud County, Kansas, United States. It is located along the Republican River in the Smoky Hills region of the Great Plains in North Central Kansas. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 5,111. Concordia is home of the Cloud County Community College and the Nazareth Convent and Academy. Derek Cooke Jr. (born August 23, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for Treviso Basket of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He played three years of Division I college basketball for Wyoming. Raymond Radway (born July 5, 1987) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and St. Louis Rams. The Texas Rangers are an American professional baseball team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
