Clone Conspiracy
"Dead No More: The Clone Conspiracy" is a 2016–17 Marvel Comics storyline starring Spider-Man. The story was notable for bringing long-dead Spider-Man supporting character Ben Reilly back to life. The storyline led Kaine to reclaim the heroic Scarlet Spider mantle and appear in his own comic book series. The story received generally mixed reviews, with critics praising the art style and action, however criticized the story and the retcons, as well as the treatment of Ben Reilly. Premise This storyline details Jackal resurfacing as he manages to get Rhino, Lizard, Doctor Octopus and a female Electro on his side with a chance to reunite with their loved ones. Plot Prologue Jackal resurfaces in the form of a mysterious man in a red suit with an Anubis mask. Gabriele Dell'Otto (born December 20, 1973) is an Italian illustrator and author whose works have been published in several countries in the fields of scientific illustration, American comic books, comic books, calendars, lithographies, books, colored graphic folders, and cover work for magazines and video games. Early life Dell'Otto was born December 20, 1973, in Rome. He received a diploma in artistic maturity and registered in the European Design Institute. Career In 1998, Dell'Otto started collaborating with the European division of Marvel Comics, producing covers, posters and lithographies for Italy, France and Germany. In Germany he started collaborating with DC Comics and other publishers such as IPP, Egmont Ehapa and MG Publishing. Anubis (; ), also known as Inpu, Inpw, Jnpw, or Anpu in Ancient Egyptian (), is the god of funerary rites, protector of graves, and guide to the underworld in ancient Egyptian religion, usually depicted as a canine or a man with a canine head. Electro () is the collective name of two supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
