Cody Conrod (born January 7, 2005), better known online as Clix is an American Twitch online streamer and professional gamer. Early life and career Clix was raised in a Connecticut small town. At age 14, Clix persuaded his father to purchase him a $1,200 computer and agreed to pay him back, which Clix did two weeks later with prize money won from an internet ''Fortnite'' tournament. Clix became the first gamer in the world to ever obtain an "Unreal" rank in ''Fortnite''. In 2024, Clix was named number 18 on ''Forbes'' magazine's list of 30 Under 30 in North America. Swatting is a form of criminal harassment that involves deceiving an emergency service (via such means as hoaxing an emergency services dispatcher) into sending a police or emergency response team to another person's location. This is achieved by false reporting of a serious law enforcement emergency, such as a bomb threat, domestic violence, murder, hostage situation, or a false report of a mental health emergency, such as that a person is suicidal or homicidal and armed, among other things.
