Clint Myers
Clint Myers is a retired college softball and college baseball coach, who previously served as head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils softball team and the Auburn Tigers softball team. Yavapai Roughriders Baseball
Yavapai College is a public community college in Yavapai County, Arizona. The main campus is in Prescott, with locations in Clarkdale, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Sedona. History Yavapai College was established in 1965 by means of a countywide election. In the four years that followed, a board was appointed, a bond was passed, college personnel were hired, and curricula were established. The first classes were held in fall 1969. In February 1970, the college district dedicated its first buildings in Prescott on a site that was once part of Fort Whipple, the military base constructed in 1864 to provide security and protection for the territorial capital. Campus Yavapai College offers on-campus housing at the Prescott Campus in the two residence halls: Marapai and Kachina. The Rider Diner offers several cafeteria style meals seven days a week. 2007 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament
The 2007 NCAA Division I baseball tournament was held from June 1 to 24, . Sixty-four NCAA Division I college baseball teams advanced to the post season tournament after having played through a regular season, and for some, a conference tournament. The 2007 tournament culminated with 8 teams advancing to the College World Series at historic Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska, on June 15. Unseeded Oregon State repeated as national champions, winning all five of its games in the 2007 CWS. Oregon State went undefeated through the College World Series, posting a 5–0 record. The Beavers, led by head coach Pat Casey, won all three games in their four-team bracket and then defeated North Carolina in two games in the best-of-three championship series. 2011 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament
The 2011 NCAA Division I baseball tournament began on Friday, June 3, 2011 as part of the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball season. The 64 team double elimination tournament concluded with the 2011 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, on June 29, 2011. The 64 NCAA Division I college baseball teams were selected out of an eligible 300 teams. Thirty teams were awarded an automatic bid as champions of their conferences, and 34 teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee. 2011 Arizona State Sun Devils Softball Team
The 2011 Arizona State Sun Devils softball team represented Arizona State University in the 2011 NCAA Division I softball season. The Sun Devils were coached by Clint Myers, who led his sixth season. The Sun Devils finished with a record of 60–6. They played their home games at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium and competed in the Pacific-10 Conference, where they finished first with a 17–4 record. The Sun Devils were invited to the 2011 NCAA Division I softball tournament, where they swept the Regional and Super Regional and then completed a run through the Women's College World Series to claim their second NCAA Women's College World Series Championship.
