Clino Trini Castelli
Clino Trini Castelli (born in Civitavecchia, 1944) is an Italian industrial designer and artist. He used the concept of "noform" throughout his work in Environmental design, environmental and industrial design, which were developed through the application of tools such as Design Primario and CMF design. Career After obtaining his school leaving certificate at the Scuola Centrale Allievi Fiat in Turin in 1961, Castelli started working at the Centro Stile of Fiat Automobiles. After three years, he moved to Olivetti in Milan, where he worked in the studio of Ettore Sottsass. At the same time, he was part of the growing Arte Povera movement in Turin, comparing himself with artists like Michelangelo Pistoletto, Piero Gilardi and Alighiero Boetti. Civitavecchia (, meaning "ancient town") is a city and major Port, sea port on the Tyrrhenian Sea west-northwest of Rome. Its legal status is a ''comune'' (municipality) of Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, Rome, Lazio. The harbour is formed by two piers and a breakwater on which stands a lighthouse. History Etruscan era The whole territory of Civitavecchia is dotted with the remains of Etruscan civilization, Etruscan tombs and it is likely that in the centre of the current city a small Etruscan settlement thrived. The Etruscan necropolis of Mattonara, not far from the Molinari factory, is almost certainly from the 7th - 6th century BC and was most likely connected with the nearby necropolis of Scaglia. An ancient port formed by small parallel basins capable of accommodating single vessels was still visible at the end of the 19th century near Forte Michelangelo.
