Climax Entertainment
was a Japanese video game development company. It was a small company, with just 20 staff in 1996. Climax got its start during the 16-bit era, primarily developing games for the Sega Genesis console. During the 32-bit era, some members of the team left to create Matrix Software. Following the development of ''Dark Savior'' (1996), a group of staff members from the company's CGI division formed an independent company Climax Graphics, initially described as a "brother company". By 2014 to 2015, without any official announcement, Climax was closed due to financial issues. ''Rilakkuma, Neratte! Tobashite! Plot Max, Rex, and Zoe, the members of the D-Team, find mysterious stones that allow them to summon dinosaurs, after creating special cards from fossils, using a special device called a Dinoshot, but an evil group called the Alpha Gang steals a Dinoshot in order to create a dinosaur empire. It is the D-Team's job to stop the Alpha Gang. Levels are short and generally only take a few minutes to complete. The goal often involves defeating a set of enemies and activating switches in order to gain access to the level's exit. ''Runabout'' is a series of destruction-themed driving games developed by Climax Entertainment. Games in this series have been released on PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Dreamcast and Nintendo 3DS. Runabout's main missions consist of the player driving from point A to point B in order to pick up or deliver an item. The first game had more than one map to choose from, whereas the later ones utilized one city map modeled after an actual location—San Francisco in Super Runabout (Dreamcast) and New York in Runabout 3 Neo Age (PlayStation 2). Players start off with just a few vehicles. When players complete a mission, destroy as much as they can, or drive without damaging anything, they are rewarded with a new vehicle.
