Climate Alliance (Sweden)
The Climate Alliance ( sv, Klimatalliansen) is a Swedish political party with a focus on climate issues that describes itself as a non-ideological, party- and bloc-crossing influence organization, neither of the right nor left. The party's electoral platform has been described by classical liberal business think tank Timbro and newspaper ''Norran'' editorial board as left-wing. The Climate Alliance was started in autumn 2021 by people who have long been active in the social debate within various parties or outside party politics, such as Gudrun Schyman, Anders Wijkman, Kristina Persson and K. G. Hammar. The party decided in February 2022 to stand in the parliamentary election, further, on 17 March 2022, the Climate Alliance registered as a party with the electoral authority. Gudrun Schyman
Gerd ''Gudrun'' Maria Schyman (born 9 June 1948) is a Swedish politician. She served as leader of the Swedish Left Party from 1993 until January 2003. She remained a member of the Left Party until 2004, when she left to focus entirely on her feminist political work after a tax evasion scandal. She remained an independent member of the Riksdag until 2006. She co-founded Feminist Initiative in 2005 and was its co-spokesperson from 2005 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2019. She left the party in 2022. Leader of the Left Party In 1993, Schyman was elected leader of the Left Party. Schyman's greatest asset was her appeal to the voters, and her party more than doubled its number of MPs during her leadership. Kristina Persson
Kristina Persson (born 16 April 1945) is a Swedish politician of the Social Democrats. She served as Minister for Nordic Cooperation and Minister for Strategic Development, under Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, from October 2014 to May 2016. Career Persson started her career in the Ministry of Finance in 1971, moved to the Secretariat for Future Studies and then spent the 1980s in the trade union movement — first at the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO), then at the LO-TCO Secretariat of International Trade Union Development, later at the Confederation of Nordic Trade Unions (NFS) secretariat, and finally at the white collar union TCO. During the 1990s, she was an MP and then an MEP, before becoming a county governor and deputy governor of the Swedish central bank. Simrishamn Municipality ( sv, Simrishamns kommun) is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Simrishamn. The creation of the present municipality took place during the last of the two nationwide municipal reforms carried out in Sweden during the second half of the 20th century. TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB.
