Cleopatra Humphrey (born 4 November 1988) formerly known by her stage name Mz. Bratt and currently known as Cleo., is an English rapper and neo-soul grime musician. History Humphrey was born in Bow, London. Later, she moved to Hainault and started producing her music. Her talent impressed the urban producer Terror Danjah who took her under their wing after hearing her at local MC battles and seeing her Myspace profile. Mz. Bratt was selected to be part of the T4 entertainment show the ''Musicool'', in which she was the lead female, at one point reducing guest judge Jamelia to tears with her exceptional talent and vocal ability. Following this, Mz. Bratt embarked on a US and European tour with The Count & Sinden, which included shows at the Glastonbury Festival and at Bestival. Humphrey has a mixed race ethnic background. Music Of Black Origin Awards
The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin, also known as the MOBOs) are an annual British music award presentation honouring achievements in " music of black origin", including hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music. The MOBO Organisation was founded by Kanya King, and the first MOBO award was presented to Baby D, in the Best Dance Act category. The inaugural awards were broadcast by Carlton Television from London's Connaught Rooms. Across its 22-year history, the MOBOs have been broadcast on Channel 4, BBC Television, ITV2 and on Channel 5 before returning to the BBC in 2020. In 2009, the ceremony was held for the first time in Glasgow. Prior to that, it had been held in London. In 2011, the ceremony returned for a second time to Scotland. Bruza
Shaun Barker, known by the stage name Bruza, is a British grime MC and rapper from Walthamstow, East London. Music career He started his career in 1992 as a member of pop/R&B boy band Chaos who were discovered by Simon Cowell, later becoming known as Ultimate Kaos. He released one single with the group, " Farewell My Summer Love" (originally by Michael Jackson). He soon departed the group due to unknown reasons. Bruza is known for rapping in a Cockney accent. Before grime music emerged in the early 2000s, Bruza was part of the drum and bass collective Reckless Crew going under the name of Chigga D. Hugh Pescod, better known as Redlight, is a British DJ, record producer, remixer and composer from Bristol. Biography Redlight was brought up around 90's warehouse rave culture in Bristol. His music and career has spanned over a decade, having spent 12 years grafting on the underground and popping up for air in 2012 with a couple of Top 10 UK hits in the national charts.
