Clear View High School
Clear View High School is a secondary school located in Webster, Texas, in the Clear Creek Independent School District. The school serves all of CCISD, including the cities of Kemah, Clear Lake Shores, Nassau Bay, Webster, El Lago, and Taylor Lake Village and portions of Houston, Pasadena, Friendswood, and League City. The school colors are black and gold and the school mascot is the tiger. Clear View High School does not have school team sports; however, the school includes physical education. Clear View High School also includes the Special Education department and Communities In School, which opened a second department when the school opened for the new school year in August 2007. Webster is a city in the U.S. state of Texas located in Harris County, within the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area. Its population was 12,499 at the 2020 U.S. census. History The community was founded in 1879 by James W. Webster under the name "Gardentown". It was established initially as a colony for settlers from England. Webster High School (Texas)
Webster High School was a school for African Americans in Louisiana during segregation. It succeeded Webster Training School. History Schooling for African Americans in Webster Parish was in churches until 1922 when Schools Superintendent E. S. Richardson helped organize funding for Webster Training School with Rosenwald Schools funding. A wood frame building for the school was constructed on the eastern edge of town and it offered vocational training. By 1932 Webster Training Institute had several buildings and expanded course offerings. The Webster Parish Library established in 1929 delivered books to local schools including Webster Training School. A new school building was constructed for it in the 1950s. Clear Horizons Early College High School is a public secondary school located in Houston, Texas, United States. In this program, an associate degree is completed simultaneously within the student's four years of high school. The program requires all its students to be on either the Distinguished Achievement Plan or the Distinguished Level of Achievement Plan. Students must take the highest level classes offered for each subject (e.g. AP, PreAP, or Dual Credit classes). Dual credit classes are semi-free for the students.
